In our quest to fullfil our vision to "be the diocese," the Young Adult Network decided that our webpage should be a place to connect all the different ministries in the diocese. We wanted to become a bridge between youth and young adults, between young adults an other ministries, between those other ministries, and between ministries and youth.
To that end, we created this Wiki. Our goal is to have a place where we can share the information about all the ministries going on in our diocese. If you are a church interested in starting a community garden or a new and different service, it is our hope that you will be able to log on to our webpage, and click on a link, and find lots of information from people who have done it already. One thing this gives us is that each church will not be trying to reinvent the wheel. Another is that if you find a church (or churches) that are doing something your church wants to try, there will be information about how to talk to them directly right here.
We are not going to be creating new pages for ministries that already have webpages. If you have a page for your ministry and would like us to link you into the wiki, send us your link, and we will add you. For example, Episcopal Community Services has a wonderful webpage. We linked to that webpage from our "Outreach" page because it is an outreach ministry.
